How late can we get?

Hey all!!
I am so excited because Dr. Seuss's birthday is coming up!!!
For those you know what I am talking about, I have nothing to say, except, I love Dr. Seuss and if you are looking around to give me some kind of a gift, think no further!
For those who don't know what am I talking about, I have nothing to say, except, if you are excited about my excitement and are looking around to give me some kind of a gift, look no more! Just saying..

How late can we get?

It's saturday
sun is shining
home is a mess
and kids are whining

Its breakfast time
for some of us
and for the rest
it's still night, just becuz...

groceries and parties
all on the same day
if only I can have a million hands
is what some of us say..

while some of us
are working a ton
the rest of us (including the one in our house)
say "what's the rush? relax and have fun!" ??!!!

party at 5
have to be on time
don't wanna miss 2 hour window
that's so divine

here we go, here we go
stand in the assembly line
eat, bathe and nap
don't you worry, we are doing just fine...

clock is ticking
do you wanna bet?
If we buy a gift
let's see how late can we get..

Who cares about the gift anyways?
we don't have friends of that kind
If we show up on time
I am sure they won't mind...
